What it is

Practice for the 25-mark “Advise” question

Each Section A question asks students to advise the parties: who can sue whom, in which tort, with what defences and what remedies. It is marked AO1 12 + AO2 5 + AO3 8.

Every scenario contains several claims: at least one is strong, one could go either way, and one is likely to fail. Weighing them and reaching a reasoned conclusion on liability and remedy is the AO3 skill the exam rewards.

  • For students taking Cambridge International AS & A Level Law (9084) and their teachers
  • A Key law at a glance panel for each scenario, to hand out or withhold
  • Plan boxes and lined answer pages
  • Three annotated model answers with AO1/AO2/AO3 tags
  • Indicative content, levels-based marking guidance and a feedback sheet
